Hi all, I wanted to start this post because my gut instinct is that porn/sex addiction among women is growing quietly and ferociously.  I know that my husband and I are trying to recover from *me* being out chatting, flirting, sex talk, and relationships with other men online and in real life.  It has devastated him and our marriage is hanging by a thread.  I need and want to be sober from these addictions and I want to help him heal from the damage I've done to him and our relationship and our children.

I need to read and study more about it, which I plan to do on this site, but I just want to say, I am HERE and want to talk about it with anyone else who is dealing with it.  Please jump on in and let's help each other recover and live full, happy lives.

You are very correct in your instinct. Pornography and other internet addictions are exponentially growing among women. The emotional connection being one of the primary factors being sought by the female population. This is why chat rooms and relationship based sites are drawing in so many women, which in turn can often lead to pornography and other activities.
